Being purpose built it also has the advantage that everything is optimised and designed for purpose. Apart from being a warm friendly cosy environment it is also equipped with some of the finest kit available.
The best recording equipment on the market won’t however produce a great outcome without a first class engineer at the helm and Mike fits that bill perfectly. His critical ears miss nothing and as a seasoned musician, composer and arranger himself he can in addition often provide inspiration and input to the creative process along the way.
Recording at the playroom has been nothing but a pleasure and a delight. The outstanding results speak for themselves. I can heartily recommend the studio, the man and the experience. Whoever knew making albums could be such fun?
